The name Maze refers to a labyrinth, which derives from the principle of walls that shift and move through spaces.

For this project, we decided to work with the space by making good use of the interior columns, which shape the flow of traffic.

To achieve this, these columns serve as supports for vertically sliding shelves.

These shelves can be raised and lowered, allowing for multifaceted use and expansion of the space when needed.

The vertical translation of the shelves on rails allows you to take advantage of the high ceilings rather than being constrained by them.

User comfort is equally important, so we decided to make use of the dead space in this library (under the windows, near the walls, etc.) by transforming it into rest areas.

These areas generally provide plenty of natural light, making them ideal for creating work areas.

This creates effective acoustic and visual insulation for moments of concentration.

A more central reception area is available. Taking advantage of the high ceilings and, above all, the natural light coming in.

These spaces, with lower ceilings, are lit by artificial lights, allowing visitors to see clearly throughout their visit.

As well as a large empty space in these areas allowing users to move around freely.

Lastly, our furniture follows the alignment of the columns, allowing for intuitive space layout and circulation.
