Aeternam is a modern reinterpretation of ancient thermal baths located in the heart of the Hotel de Ragueneau in Bordeaux. Its architecture is divided into two parts-two buildings.

The first building is dedicated to pre-spa rituals. This transitional space allows visitors to prepare themselves for the calm and stillness of the spa, within a simple, raw aesthetic.

The entrance remains impressive, with a large terracotta wall marking the threshold between the transitional and immersive spaces. The reception area is designed to be simple and uncluttered, free of distractions.

On floors R1 and R2, there are changing rooms, lockers, and showers to help users prepare for their baths.

The large terracotta wall rises all the way to the roof, serving as a visual guide for visitors to understand where the boundaries of the spaces are.

As mentioned earlier, the second building houses the thermal baths. The entire immersive and sensory experience takes place here.

The courtyard, which opens onto the street, has been designed to be an intimate space hidden from passersby, allowing visitors to feel safe and enjoy their experience.

On Level 1, a perimeter platform has been installed around the building to create a space for strolling and contemplation. This echoes the design principles of ancient thermal baths, which served as spaces for living and socializing.
